Pauline Frederick
Pauline Frederick (1883 - 1938) American actress -- she has signed the portrait in red lipstick on the right, and added an impression of her own lips in the lower left corner. At this time she was appearing at the Lyceum Theatre in London in the play Madame X by Alexandre Bisson (she had also appeared in a film version in 1920)
