The Games Room, or Penny Arcade at the American Red Cross Club, Rainbow Corner, the main centre for US servicemen in London during the Second World War with the promise of having, "doors that never close. The Penny Arcade offered pool tables and pinball machines, and was where soldier could buy tickets to theatre and entertainments organised by the Programme Director
