Prince of Wales with Denys Finch-Hatton

Prince of Wales, later King Edward VIII, and Duke of Windsor, pictured with the Hon. Denys Finch-Hatton, who had accompanied the Prince on his most recent safari in East Africa. Denys Finch-Hatton, was a big game hunter and was immortalised in the autobiographical novel by Karen Blixen (Isak Dinesen), Out of Africa. He was killed shortly after this photograph was taken when the Gypsy Moth he was flying crashed in Kenya
