Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent

Duchess of Kent in uniform as Commandant of the Women's Royal Naval Service, entering a plane at a London airport, on her way to unveil a war memorial at Royal Naval Air Station at Lee-On-Solent, Hampshire. The memorial was dedicated to the 1930 officers, men and one woman of the Fleet Air Arm who died during World War II. Princess Marina of Greece, later Duchess of Kent (1906-1968), daughter of Princess Helen of Russia and Prince Nicholas of Greece, and wife of Prince George, Duke of Kent. Princess Marina is the mother of the current Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra and Prince Michael of Kent
