Prisoner in the Langenstein concentration camp
Starved and wasted prisoner with an American Red Cross worker, found in the Langenstein concentration camp when it was liberated by the U.S. Army in April 1945 towards the end of World War Two. The Langenstein-Zwieberge camp was an under-camp of the Buchenwald concentration camp. Prisoners were forced to work twelve hours a day in atrocious conditions
