Private Begum Pasha Shah, nineteen-year-old daughter of Mr. A. G. Shah, Chief Instructor in Urdu to British officers in Poona. The Sphere notes with interest that she is the first Muhammadan girl to join the Women's Auxiliary Corps (India). She could speak several languages and planned to attend London University after the war
