Queen Elizabeth II attending the Balaclava Ball at the Hyde Park Hotel which celebrated the centenary of the Charge of the Light Brigade during the Crimean War. Queen is pictured arriving at the ball in company with Air Marshal Sir John Baldwin, Colonel of the 8th Hussars. The guard of honour was provided by troopers of the five Light Brigade regiments in full dress uniform
