Queens Theatre, London
The auditorium of the Queens Theatre, on Longacre, London, near Covent Garden, opened in 1867. It was built on the site of the St Martins Hall. The architect was C.J.Phipps. On the frieze above the stage can be seen a painting by Albert Moore depicting Greek figures watching the performance of a play
