Railway Disaster near Conway 1899
Violent storm in the Irish Sea lashed the Welsh coast, at Penmaenbach between Conwy and Penmaenmawr. The goods train crashed into the sea, killing the driver and fireman, their bodies found almost two months later near Deganwy. Photograph showing the engine and tender in the sea
