RMS Carpathia, 1903
The Cunard Line's RMS Carpathia, launched by the Swan Hunter Shipyard, in 1902. She was the first vessel built for the Cunard Line which was exclusively for second and third class passengers. In 1912 she was the first vessel to attend the sinking of the Titanic'. The Carpathia was sunk by a German U-boat in 1918, off the Fastnet, Southern Ireland
