The Royal Edward liner - sunk at the Dardanelles
The Royal Edward, formerly the Cairo, a big, two-funnelled liner which formerly crossed the Atlantic, and was later used as a troop ship. It was torpedoed off the Dardanelles with 32 officers and 1350 troops on board. 600 were saved
