Royal Visit to France - King & Queen at Bagatelle
King George VI and Queen Elizabeth attending a garden party alongside President Lebrun and Mme. Lebrun at the Bagatelle, held in their honour during their visit to Paris in 1938. The royal visit was considered a huge success and the Queen's wardrobe, designed by Norman Hartnell, all in white due to the Queen being in mourning for her mother, was widely praised.
