Royal wedding 1863 - a cake of colossal proportions

One of the royal bridal cakes prepared by Mr. Bolland of Chester, which stood at nearly five feet high. All three tiers were ornately decorated, and surmounted by a temple embedded with orange blossom and silver leaves. The crowning glory is cupid supporting the Prince's coronet and a plume of ostrich feathers
