Royal Wedding 1913 -- Connaught Fife -- four dresses
The wedding dress and three trousseau dresses designed for the wedding of Arthur, Prince of Connaught and Alexandra, Duchess of Fife, which took place in the Chapel Royal, St James's Palace, London, on 15 October 1913. In the foreground is the wedding dress, in white charmeuse satin, with an under dress finely embroidered in leaves and in lilies with pearls, diamante and silver. Above, from left to right, are an evening dress, an evening cloak, and the bride's going away costume in warm dove grey charmeuse. The dresses were made by Felix Barolet of Knightsbridge
