Royal Wedding 1919 -- Princess Patricia of Connaught
Princess Patricia of Connaught's wedding dress (left), and the dresses of the elder and younger bridesmaids. She married Commander Alexander Ramsay RN on 27 February 1919. Her dress was in Venetian style, made of white broche panne on an underdress of silver lace, and the train was made of rich cloth of silver, embroidered with a lily design. The bridesmaids dresses were in love-in-the-mist blue georgette over blue satin. All of the dresses were by Messrs Revill and Rossiter. On her marriage Princess Patricia, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria, relinquished her royal title and became Lady Patricia Ramsay
