Royal Wedding 1919 -- Princess Patricia of Connaught

Four items from Princess Patricia of Connaught's trousseau, consisting of evening frocks and tea gowns. The dresses are, from left to right, an evening gown in powder blue with gold and silver brocade; a tea frock of turquoise blue mousseline de soie over apple green satin; an evening dress of sapphire blue satin; and a peach chiffon velvet tea gown. All of the dresses were by Messrs Revill and Rossiter. Princess Patricia, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria, married Commander Alexander Ramsay RN on 27 February 1919.
