Ruins of the Bowyer Tower, Tower of London
Ruins of the Bowyer or Bowyer's Tower at the Tower of London. It acquired that name having been assigned as the residence of the master and provider of the King's bows. It was in this chamber that George, Duke of Clarence, brother to Edward IV, was, according to tradition, drowned in a butt of malmsey wine
