Saved From Starvation by Wheatfields 1970
In 1905, a lecture at the Royal Institution, Professor Silvanus P. Thompson referred to the increase demand for wheat would cause a world wide shortage in thirty years. The artist has depicted the future mechanical and chemical means in which the production of it's daily bread under controlled conditions
