Sea Suits for Sunning and Swimming 1931
Clothes for swimming and sunbathings, two leisure preoccupations of the 1930s. The gaily coloured outfit on the left in striped blue and white heavy cotton has braces to the trousers and a short bolero coat and is from Woollands. The swimsuit underneath is from Lillywhites as are the shorts and sweater in the middle and the swimming costume on the right, designed to absorb the sun's rays
