Sketches at the Hippodrome, 1909 by Norman Morrow
Various performers at the re-opened London Hippodrome in August 1909. Acts included the Ahearn Troupe who seem to be comedy cyclists, The Marvellous Schenk Brothers, Braatz Performing Dogs, Charles Hawtrey in the one-act play, Time is Money and the highlight of the programme, Die Schwestern Wiesenthal (Grete, Elsa and Berta), who performed astonishingly energetic, expressive and modern interpretations of the waltz
