Society out in force to see the dresses designed by Count Michael de Torby, son of Grand Duke Michael, at court dressmakers, Reville and Rossiter in 1918. Notable personalities include the Countess of Medina (formerly Countess Nada Torby, sister of the designer), Lady Sarah Wilson (aunt to Winston Churchill), Mrs Porch (Lady Randolph Churchill), Madame Merry de Val and Mrs Ralph Peto, Viscountess Curzon, Lady Zia Wernher (another sister of Count Michael), his father Grand Duke Michael and the Duchess of Sutherland
