The Speaker's Coach
Page from The Sphere featuring information and detailed photographs of the Speaker's coach, believed to have been built for William III and presented to the Speaker of the House of Commons by Queen Anne early in her reign. Images show the interior of crimson velvet, the sculpted maces surmounted with a cap (a symbol of the Speaker's authority), and some of the rich carving and paintings, the latter possibly done by Cipriani
