The SS Berengaria, New York, 1938
Cunard-White Star liner Berengaria at her pier in the River Hudson. Built in 1912 for the Hamburg-American Line as Imperator, the Berengaria suffered a fire in her main lounge in 1938 and, though the damage was not considered great at first, she was sold for scrap in New York later that year
