Stanley Spencer attempt flight around St. Paul's Cathedral

Stanley Spencer's airship leaving from Crystal Palace, for an attempt to fly around the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral, watched by a crowd of cheering spectators. Unfortunately it soon became apparent that central London had become obscured by mist, so Spencer headed west, towards Chelsea Bridge and continued over Kensington and Earl's Court
