Statue of Queen Victoria re-located - Blackfriars Bridge
A 5.5 ton bronze statue of Queen Victoria, which stood for 70 years at the Northern end of Blackfriars Bridge, London, moved to a new island site 30 yards away - the move was necessitatied by the work to construct a new underpass connecting the Victoria Embankment and Tower Hill
