The Stern of the Scharnhorst 1943
Crew of the German battleship Scharnhorst mustered on the stern deck to salute the raising of the Nazi flag. The Scharnhorst, launched in June 1936, was sunk at the Battle of the North Cape by Royal Navy vessels in December 1943
