Storing Gramophone Recordings of Great Singers 1907
Recording voices by the leading singers of the day, on a gramophone. These were not to be opened until a century had passed. Twenty-four urns were stored in metal plate which were covered with resin in order to reserve them. To prevent rust they were then placed inside two lead and iron containers which were stored in vaults beneath Paris Opera
