Suffragettes demand to see Mr. Asquith at Parliament
Suffragettes being taken to the police station on the evening of the 29th June 1909. Suffragettes attemped to enter Parliament, to see Herbert Henry Asquith on the question of votes for women who was unable to meet them, they were asked to leave which brought, with the reply "We absolutely refuse." Again the request was made and just stolidly refused
