Talk of the Town opening night

Scene of the opening night at The Talk of the Town, theatre-restaurant, formerly the London Hippodrome. The Talk of the Town was opened by producer Robert Nesbitt, impresario Bernard Delfont and Charles Forte, and offered a spectacular floor show and a star turn every evening. The Talk continued until the early 1980s when it closed reopened as the Hippodrome Casino run by Peter Stringfellow. Today, the building is the Hippodrome Casino and considerable restoration has been undertaken to bring back the original interior
