Territorial Force 1908
The Territorial Force was formed in 1908. There were to be fourteen infantry divisions and fourteen cavalry brigades, run by the newly formed civilian Territorial Associations. Photograph showing a new recuit swearing in, having satisfied the requirements, he takes the oath in the Scottish fashion to defend his King and country
