Thorpe Rail Crash 1874
The scene after the rail accident at Thorpe St Andrew, Norfolk on 10 September 1874 when two trains were in head-on collision. Both drivers and firemen were killed, along with 17 passengers. A further 4 passengers died from their injuries later, and many were injured
