Tichborne House, Alresford, Hants. The family home of Mr Roger Tichborne. Mr Orton was sentenced to fourteen years imprisonment, for claiming to be Mr Roger Tichborne. Mr Tichborne had disappeared at sea in 1854. Twelve years later, Orton appeared in Australia claiming to be the late Tichborne
