Timken tapered roller bearing axleboxes - train
A recent innovation by British Timken Ltd - a tapered-roller-bearing wagon bearing unit for freight stock made suitable for high speed and replacing the old plain-bearing axlebox. Used by over 1000 British Railways 20-ton guards brade vans and an increasing number of British Railways 21-ton hopper wagons
