The trial of Eugen Weidmann - German serial killer
The trial of Eugen Weidmann (left) (1908-1939), a German criminal and serial killer executed by guillotine in France in June 1939 in the last public execution in France. Pictured with his partners in crime Roger Million and Jean Blanc, who all worked together to kidnap rich tourists visiting France and steal their money. Weidmann and Million received the death sentence and Blanc received a prison sentence of twenty months. Million's sentence was later commuted to life imprisonment
