Tsar Nicholas II and The Royal Scots Greys
Reception of the deputation of officers of the Scots Greys in the Anitchkoff Palace at St. Petersburg, Russia. Tsar Nicholas II was the Colonel-in-Chief of the Scots Greys and wore their uniform at this meeitng. The officers were well received and during the course of the meeting they presented a large oil painting representing the Emperor in the full uniform of the Scots Greys trotting past the Queen in the Long Valley at Aldershot- a present frm the officers of the regiment to his Majesty
