Tsar and Tsaritsa fancy-dress bal 1903

Tsar - Nicholas II of Russia (1868 - 1918) and Tsaritsa - Alexandra Feodorovna (1872 - 1918) at the fancy-dress ball, which was a lavish affair, held over two day to celebrate the bicentenary of the city of St. Petersburg, at the Winter Palace. Nicholas II was dressed as was wearing priceless original items from the 17th century, dressed as a predecessor two hundred years before Tsar Alexis -Alexei Mikhailovich, he was Tsar of all Russia from 1645 until his death in 1676. Alexandra was wearing priceless original items from the 17th century, dressed as a Maria Ilyinichna Miloslavskaya the first wife of Tsar Alexis -Alexei Mikhailovich, he was Tsar of all Russia from 1645 until his death in 1676
