Valves Used Between London and New York 1927
One of the great valves in which speech was passed by radio between London and New York, America. Transatlantic radio-telephone service, which enables telephone subscribers in London to exchange speech with any New York subscriber. The service was opened in January 1927 by Sir Evelyn Murray (Secretary of the British General Post Office) and gifford (president of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company)
