Villa Tournesol, revolving house by G. H. Davis
A revolving house the owner can turn while in his bath. The remarkable revolving jpise was designed by two French architects, Georges Lecuyer and Henri Jubault and shown in model form at the Exhibition of Housing and Decorative Arts in Nice in 1927. It worked on a turntable principle being built on a platform supported by eight steel girders radiating from a central pivot. The power was supplied by an electric motor controlled by buttons in every room. An automatic setting allowed the house to turn and follow the sun through the day
