William III State Barge, July 1912
Painting of King William III's state barge, which was to be used by King George V and Queen Mary to visit the Henley Regatta, on 6th July 1912. This was the first time the Regatta was attended in State by the Sovereign. The barge was built in 1689 by William III for his Consort, Queen Mary, and survives to this day in the collection of the National Maritime Museum
