Winston Churchill wearing tropical uniform, photographed in the Illustrated Sporting and Dramatic News at the time he was acting as correspondent for the Morning Post. Although the photograph was printed to illustrate a report on his capture during the Boer War, the picture itself dates from 1898 when he reported from the Battle of Omdurman in Sudan
