Wolseley Motors now a shell factory 1915
The chassis test-shop of Wolseley Motors Ltd at Adderley Park near Birmingham transformed into a shell factory. As World War I progressed, many factories converted their businesses to contribute towards the war effort. This was particularly so once Lloyd George became Minister for Munitions in September 1915
