Wounded soldiers recuperating in pleasant surroundings
A group of wounded soldiers, with nurses, seen walking in the grounds of a country house at which they are recuperating from injuries received during bitter fighting. The Tatler does not give the location but says, It is indiscreet to mention the locality for one overwhelming reason, namely, because wounded, refugees and helpless women and children are the Huns pet target
