Xanthian Marbles at the British Museum, London 1842
A number of views of some Xanthian Marbles, displayed at the British Museum, London. At the top are three headless figures. In the centre, a sculptured sarcophagus found at the tomb near the Theatre of Xanthus. At the bottom, views of each side of the tomb. These ancient sculptures and friezes were discovered by Sir Charles Fellows (1799-1860) at Xanthus, Greece, in 1838
