Zoology of the Antarctic Regions drawn by Dr. Wilson
A series of heads of the Adelie penguin, Pygoscelis adeliae, drawn by Dr Wilson, who accompanied and died with Captain Scott on his fateful expedition to reach the South Pole in 1912. The drawings appeared in the book, National Antarctic Expedition - Vol II, Zoology which presented the findings of the Scott/Wilson/Shackleton expedition to the South Pole in 1901-4
