Portrait of Anna Pavlova (1881-1931), prima ballerina assoluta of the St Petersburg Royal Opera House. She was a principal artist with the Imperial Russian Ballet and the Ballets Russes, and the first ballerina to undertake a complete world tour. This is publicity for her upcoming appearance at the Palace Theatre in London
