Oxford's Victory, 1909 Boat Race
Scenes from Oxford's surprise victory at the 1909 Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race. We see spectators at Barnes Bridge and Mortlake, and Oxford pulling far ahead, and Cambridge utterly rowed out at the end of the race. The race began in 1829, and has been held annually since 1856
