General Bullers return from the Boer War

General Sir Redvers Buller driving through the decorated streets of Aldershot. Lady Audrey Buller is seen sitting beside her husband. Troops from the garrison lined the streets which where were festooned. General Buller (December 1839 " June 1908) was a British Army officer. He served as Commander-in-Chief of British Forces in South Africa during the early months of the Second Boer War (11 Oct 1899 " 31 May 1902) and subsequently commanded the army in Natal until his return to England in November 1900
