King Alfonso XII of Spain
The late King Alfonso XII of Spain (28th November 1857 - 25th November 1885). Also known as El Pacificador ('The Peacemaker'), he died at just 27 of dysentery, and was succeeded by his unborn son, Alfonso XIII, the following year. He is the last king of Spain to have died on the throne
