Madrid Mob Tears Down German Flag
A Spanish mob tears down the flag at the German Legation, Madrid. This was in response to the Carolines Crisis (/Question), a conflict between the two states over the ownership of the Caroline Islands. Around 30, 000 people demonstrated in Madrid. Spain eventually regained control of the islands
