With description, Although snow falls every year on the mountains of Palestine, it is seldom that the City of Jerusalem is seen buried in a mantle of snow. Such an event occurred on March 5 last when the accompanying photograph was taken. It shows the city from the eminence known as Gordon's Calvary. Very prominent in our picture is the spire of the German Church of the Redeemer
